JOB SUMMARY


The Purchasing Manager will manage the purchase of all materials and supplies for the organization. This includes all assigned TND warehouses. This includes being responsible for supervising a staff of individuals dedicated to keeping products and supplies in stock and maintaining the highest levels of customer service both internally and externally, while also not over-committing inventory resources beyond company goals. The purchasing manager will develop and define processes and tools and help ensure the department adheres to those processes.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  •  Maximize Organizational goals in service metrics while limiting company investment in inventory
  • Maintain relationships with internal management as well as key personnel at vendors to support understanding of product demand
  • Develop, implement, and sustain effective policies, procedures and systems to manage all materials and supplies inventories including minimum/maximum levels, reorder points, etc. 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc. 
  • Effectively negotiate with our suppliers to achieve advantageous pricing, reliable delivery and the greatest possible benefits our internal operation
  • Effectively utilize existing computer system to manager the purchasing responsibilities
  • Maintain records and develop reports for reconciliation of supplies inventories
  • Implement sound purchasing procedures, to organize outside contractual work, utilize software that facilities ongoing operations
  • Analyze, summarize and/or review data; report findings, interpret results and/or make recommendations 
  • Collaborate with Demand Manager and Distribution Managers regarding timing of incoming product and strive to ensure product flow meets capacity

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience managing a  purchasing function with direct reports preferred
  • Proven ability to build good relationships with  other department leaders in sales and finance
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated oral, written, and interpersonal  communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information

EDUCATION 

  • B.S. Degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field is preferred
  • Professional certification in purchasing or supply chain is also preferred

JOB SUMMARY


The Controller position is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans. Create and analyze financial statements
  • Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Oversee operations for the Accounting department, including Assistant Controller and Credit Manager 
  • Cash management
  • Debt management and reporting to banks with financial information 
  • Coordinate with external tax preparation and auditors to prepare audits of the company
  • Accounting for ESOP and 401(K) benefits and audits, ensuring ERISA laws are being followed, annual filing of ERISA documents, as well as preparing reports and assisting in the valuation of the ESOP
  • Filing and overseeing compliance for state and federal tax payments, including personal property tax reporting for NV, MO, and TX and reconciliation of invoices relating to such tax, capital stock, gross receipts tax and payments, sales and use tax
  • Coordinate company insurance and risks
  • Stock holder distributions and reconciliation to be proportionate
  • Work with our Merchant accounts for credit cards and analysis of fees charged
  • Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to work closely with senior management team
  • Experience in an ESOP Company

EDUCATION 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business administration, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible accounting experience
  • Strong Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills
  • CPA certification preferred
